Jasy – A New Breed Of Reggae Artist.

Caribbean bred reggae artist Jasy’s musical roots can be traced back to the island of Jamaica. She was raised by her grandmother, as things go her parents moved to New York early in search of a better life for the family. Born in Montego Bay, Jasy’s unique style comes from a melting pot of musical influences that have surrounded her throughout her life.

Reggae Music played a significant role in the singer’s life as it sowed the seeds for her own musical journey, and also allowed her to understand her Rastafarian father better. Jasy is mostly inspired by her own real life experiences and also tries to cover social topics whenever she can. A good example of this is her debut single “The Struggle Is Real” which is a story of strenght and determination to succeed in the face of adversity.
